Pokemon fans have found unused Pokemon animation feature from Pokemon battles in "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon." The reason for not using this animation causes speculation among users.
This animation was first used in "Pokemon Heart Gold" and "Pokemon Soul Silver" that allow Pokemons to follow their trainers everywhere. This technology was never used again by Pokemon's developer Game Freak.
It is unclear why this feature was not included in "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" despite it being in the game file. GameSpot speculated this is because of time, priority and performance issues.
"Perhaps, they were built to be included in the third version of the game from Nintendo Switch. Fans are hoping that the feature be included in the future titles," the site explained.
VG 24/7 reported that "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" has been prone to dataminers. The dataminers are fond of revealing "Pokemon" features like the follow feature that allows Pokemons to walk side by side their trainers.
These dataminers found low-polygon variants that are not used in the latest Pokemon games. The site reported that this might mean that at the earlier stages of development of these games the follow feature might have been used.
Just recently, the "Pokemon" game has been on the spotlight for "Pokemon Go." Jobs & Hire reported that gamers could now update the phenomenal game.
The site reported that the latest update will allow gamers to transfer multiple Pokemon. They explained that this will make life easier for users because they were not allowed to transfer more than one Pokemon at the same time.
"Pokemon Go" game users would not have to go to each Pokemon and go to menu options one by one. As for the unused feature, there have been no official reports on why Game Freak did not include this on "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon."
