Which TV shows have made it to The Cancel Bear TV rating's cut in its 2016-2017 season? So far on its 11th week, it has tracked down CBS' "Blue Bloods" and still gives it a good go.
Even with the show running relatively long already, "Blue Bloods" still manages to "hang in there" as Cancel Bear gives it a four-smiling-bear status. According to the TV ratings' legends, the four-bear outcome means the show is "likely to be renewed by May 2017."
As reported by TV by the Numbers, this is quite good news for the drama series as not all long-running TV shows that were rated in Cancel Bear's standings seem to have successfully earned the public's interest. Some are actually on the verge of being totally canceled.
The New York-set police drama has been on for seven seasons. In all fairness to the production, it has managed to keep the 18-49 rating that was similar to the previous year's results. TV by the Numbers says "It's pretty much the definition of an under-the-radar success, in other words. It just does its job well week in and week out."
In other words, the fans will not be expecting a season finale very soon for their favorite cop stars. There seems to be more time for the producers to instigate more conflicts to the story, especially after spoilers have revealed that Jamie and Eddie's characters are set to heat up romantically.
The upcoming love team-up was confirmed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Also, there have been rumors about Tom Selleck character Frank Reagan's death in the show as the actor needs to leave CBS for now.
There is still no certainty to when "Blue Bloods" will end because it has yet to perform lowly, but for sure there is more to watch out for in the show.
