After a long day of chasing down Pokemon playing Niantic's hit location-based mobile game "Pokemon Go" players will now get to enjoy a refreshing treat thanks to Starbucks. Niantic and Starbucks recently launched their partnership program and Pokemon trainers can't be happier about it.
There have been talks for a while now about the Starbucks partnership that "Pokemon Go" will launch and it is finally here. Starting today, a whopping 7,800 Starbucks stores across the United States will be turned into PokeStops and Gyms as reported by 13 Action News. This new "Pokemon Go" gig will let players claim Starbucks stores for their team's gym. Moreover, it is also refreshing to know that whenever one sees a Starbucks store, it means more Pokeballs from the Starbucks PokeStop.
In addition to the increase in PokeStop and Gyms for "Pokemon Go," the Starbucks partnership also brings a new refreshing delicacy to "Pokemon Go" trainers. Starbucks has prepared a special concoction that trainers can enjoy and many believe it is what "Pokemon Go" tastes like. According to a report by Fortune, Starbucks has dished out a pink drink in 7,800 stores nationwide. The beverage is called the "Pokemon Go" Frappuccino and it is designed to go hand in hand with rigorous "Pokemon Go" training sessions.
The "Pokemon Go" Frappuccino is a based on the store's Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with a Raspberry and Blackberry twist. The tasty beverage will be available for a limited time only so make sure to get a taste of "Pokemon Go" will it is still available.
In a previous report in Jobs & Hire, it was stated that there will be 100 new gen 2 Pokemon released for "Pokemon Go" in the coming weeks. Trainers better prepare and have a nice Frappuccino in hand as they venture out to catch new Pokemon. Stay tuned to Jobs & Hire for more updates.
