‘Dragon Ball Super’ News & Updates: New Omniverse Tournament Arc Confirmed; Series To Take Break After Episode 72?
By Michael Cox | Dec 11, 2016 07:06 AM EST
Rumors have been going on around "Dragon Ball Super" about its upcoming new story arc. The "Future Trunks" episode was a great one and, since then, the series began airing filler episodes that have brought fans to make their own theories about the series' future and possible events that might happen after each arc. Now, the two biggest possible revelations on the new arc involve Gohan and Broly.
Gohan Finally Appears in the New Arc?
In a report by iTech Post, there were speculations about Gohan's resurgence in the next big arc. It can be recalled that Gohan was nowhere to be found in the multi-universe tournament. However, according to the source, the next big arc might present another story of omniverse tournament. It is said that Goku-Vegeta team will be facing the strongest fighters in the Universe.
Super Saiyan Broly on Episode 72?
Aside from Gohan, another character that is believed to make an appearance on episode 72 is the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly. However, some believe that Broly's appearance in the series is quite a bit impossible. Although the art design for Broly was made by Akira Toriyama, Takao Koyama of "Dragon Ball Z" is actually the one who created Broly's character - a conflict that makes it possible to put Broly in the "Dragon Ball Super" series.
"Dragon Ball Super" Will Have Its Break After Episode 72?
The next big arc announcement is set to be announced on December 17, while episode 72 is set to be released on December 25. However, although these are two big news in a row, fans can expect a short break from the series. After the said episode, the next one shall be released little bit late, most probably by January 8.
Meanwhile, on another anime news and update, "My Hero Academia" season release for 2017 has been confirmed. Check out a report by Jobs & Hire.
