Ian Somerhalder is at it again, looking all flaming hot and sexy for his fans. And although he might not end up as Christian Grey for the '50 Shades' movie adaptation, he still has more than enough charm to show off in the teaser photo of Vampire Diaries Season 5.
Although his on-again/off-again relationship with series co-star Nina Dobrev may have been the talk of the talk lately, Ian is set to let all the rumors go down the drain for the return of Vampire Diaries in October.
The new season seems to be way different than what its fans are expecting it to be after season 4's ending. The makers of the show have given a few hints that there might be a new certain someone to meddle between Damon (Ian) and Elena's (Nina) relationship.
In his latest interview, Ian Somerhalder dished out his emotional breakdown moments on set of The Vampire Diaries.
"Don't, for a second, think it's always cotton candy. Sometimes it really hurts and a lot of stuff that Damon goes through is super cathartic for me as an individual," Ian said.
The 34-year-old actor also opened up about how hard its is for him to stop crying. "It's not always fun. Sometimes it's brutal and I'll walk off set and I'll cry for 10 minutes alone in my trailer and I look at myself in the mirror and go, 'What the hell are you doing? Why are you crying in the trailer? Go have a coffee or something'. But for me, that's acting, that's what I do every day, it's pretty weird."
Ian said that he prefers to remain as his bad boy alter ego even off-cam. He remarked that he would feel great to just be the bad-ass dude, who gets to rip everybody's heads off, and then laughed saying, "I know it sounds a little sadistic!"
