"Sailor Moon R" movie debut will happen on January 13, 2017, at 8pm in Los Angeles. Its screening will take place at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. After which, a Q&A session with the cast will take place.
Those who will be present at the "Sailor Moon R" movie premiere are strongly encouraged to "dress to impress". According to Sailor Moon News, since this is not just an ordinary Hollywood premiere event, cosplay is much welcome. The "Sailor Moon R" to be shown is the English-dubbed version of the film, featuring the voice of Viz, a new voice cast. The film will also be shown in Japanese with English subtitles in some cities.
Tickets for this "Sailor Moon R" movie event are available at the Ace Hotel site for $29.99 each. Details about other screenings will be available at Eleven Arts website.
Meanwhile, Sailor Moon's fans in Canada are curious whether or not the film is going to be shown there just like "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" which was played in the major cities of Canada. There's a survey posted online asking people if they are interested in seeing the film. Fans are encouraged to do the survey with the information about the city where they live if they are hoping to see the "Sailor Moon R" movie.
If you think that this is just about the "Sailor Moon R" movie, you are wrong. There's more! "Sailor Moon S" Part 1 were released on November 15 on DVD and Blu-Ray. These sets are available at various stores and retailers online. This is the first time that "Sailor Moon S" episodes were released with Viz's new English dub.
The new DVD and Blu-Ray sets were released just in time for Christmas. They would be a nice gift suggestion especially if you know someone who is an avid fan anime especially Sailor Moon. But of course, a premiere ticket for the movie "Sailor Moon R" would be a much better option.
