It has been months since “Stranger Things” ended its freshman season on Netflix, and fans are waiting to see what happens next, particularly to beloved character Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). Now that Eleven is confirmed to return for season 2, Brown expressed her wish on what she wants to happen to her mysterious character.
Brown was at the UNICEF 70th anniversary event in New York on Monday night, and the actress was asked by E! Online about her hopes for her character in season 2.
“I don’t know. Something with Romeo Beckham,” said the 12-year-old.
Beckham, 14, is the son of Victoria and David Beckham. The teen has done some modeling for Burberry since the age of 10. According to The Sun, Romeo Beckham has stayed with the famous British brand until the line’s 2015 Christmas advertisement.
It is unclear whether Brown and Beckham have already met, but the actress did share the stage with David Beckham at the UNICEF event during the “Youth Takeover” segment of the program. Afterward, the actress took to Instagram to post a photo of her and the soccer icon and wrote, “Thank you @davidbeckham and #audreyhepburn for inspiring me to use my voice and platform for good. Tonight was incredible.”
Is there a chance that fans will see Romeo Beckham in season 2 of “Stranger Things?” David and Victoria Beckham are known to be very supportive of their children’s endeavors, and their third child, Cruz, just launched his first Christmas single earlier this month. They have also supported Romeo during his modeling stint, as well as eldest son Brooklyn, 17, who has also done some modeling and is now an avid photographer. It is unknown if the second eldest Beckham child will pursue a career in show business, but as of the moment, the teen is said to be particularly keen on being a tennis player.
The next installment of “Stranger Things” is expected to return next year. As previously reported by Jobs & Hire, fans are expecting Mike (Finn Wolfhard) to look for Eleven after she disappeared in the season finale. Production for season 2 is ongoing, and it is expected that more updates about the show’s cast and plot will be released ahead of the show’s return.
“Stranger Things” season 2 is slated to premiere in 2017 on Netflix.
