Drew Scott, one of the stars in HGTV's "Property Brothers," finally squashed speculations about his sexuality with the announcement that he is engaged to be married to his long-time girlfriend. US Weekly reported that the "Property Brothers" star happily told everyone via Twitter that he asked Linda Phan to marry him.
Jobs & Hire previously reported that there were rumors about the "Property Brothers" star being gay. However, it seems that the "Property Brothers" have been with his girlfriend for six years so the rumors have no basis at all.
The girlfriend of the "Property Brothers" star has been one of the people behind the show. Scott revealed that he appreciated her presence when filming "Property Brothers" because she keeps them grounded. The "Property Brothers" star and Phan both work for Scott Brothers Entertainment.
Fox News reported that the "Property Brothers" star cooked up a surprise proposal for Phan at a restaurant. The surprise proposal was followed by a surprise party to celebrate the couple's engagement.
The "Property Brothers" star's engagement will hopefully end rumormongers from their speculations about his sexuality. Jonathan Scott, the other "Property Brothers" star is also in a relationship with someone called Jacinta, although there are no reports about whether he plans to get engaged too.
The "Property Brothers" star who got engaged did not reveal his wedding plans yet. Fans would definitely expect a grand and fun wedding. Do you think the engagement will end in marriage or will trouble come along the way? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
