George Zimmerman is reportedly back in police custody after a domestic dispute, in which his wife says he allegedly brandished a gun and a knife at her. Zimmerman reports he did it on his part of being in "self-defense" mode, but no reports confirm if this excuse was going to be applicable for the second time around.

Shellie Zimmerman, who has just days ago filed for a divorce, had called 911, telling the operator that she "was really, really scared." She has gone on record to say, on a TV interview on Good Morning America, that her soon-to-be ex husband "had a serious temper" and was "verbally abusive."

Police reports say they were called to the bickering couple's home on Sprucewood Road to investigate a domestic incident involving guns (it is unknown if the incident occurred at Zimmerman's mother-in-law's house, which is in the same area). The police have since confirmed that George Zimmerman has been detained and is currently in police custody on charges of "domestic battery." The dispute was said to have started when Shellie discovered that there were firearms in the house, and the arguments eventually escalated to a point where police had to be called in. Reports also say that Shellie's father was also involved in the dispute, although his role in it is still unclear.

However, Shellie Zimmerman seems to have been giving conflicting accounts. Recent updates to the situation say that she admits that her husband had threatened her family, but is "unwilling to press further charges."

Latest updates say that she tells police officers that she had not really seen a gun, which contradicts her statements in the call she made to 911.

George Zimmerman had recently been involved in a bigger, nationwide racial controversy, after allegedly shooting "in self-defense," teenager Trayvon Martin. After a very public trial, he was acquitted of the murder last July.
