LG officially announced what was previously only a leaked image of its newest tablet LG G Pad III 10.1 on Dec. 18 and shared details on specs and features.
Prior to the official announcement, many looked to the fairly recent LG G Pad III 8.0 for any clues as to what the 10.1 version will be. There is no more need for speculation, however, as some of its features and specs have been made public by the company, reports Newspim.
As per its name, the new tablet has a 10.1-inch full HD screen with 1200x1920 resolution screen; the 8.0 version is only 8 inches. The full HD of the former device would mean that images are displayed with twice the brightness and clarity.
Its Reader Mode feature also ensures that the user’s eyes are not fatigued by the light. The mode reduces blue light, making reading e-books, surfing the internet, and doing late night catching up on reports and journal articles comfortable and not too heavy on the eyes.
How does the G Pad III 10.1 differ from the G Pad III 8.0? According to Korean news site, it maintains its advantages, optimizing it for multimedia education such as internet lecture and reading.
Aside from that, the G Pad III 10.1 has a foldable and adjustable (up too 70 degrees) kick stand. Setting it up would provide the user with a desk clock, a desk calendar, and even a digital frame.
The device will also be the first in the G series to carry a stylus pen. Moreover, a Microsoft Office Package is part of the purchase.
It will be first made available in South Korea, reports Phone Arena. The website also posted images of the phone and surmises the RAM to be 3 GB of 4 GB with a battery of 7400mAh.
Another LG device's details were also leaked recently and that is the LG V5.
