Nerlens Noel has been involved in a lot of NBA trade rumors since coming back from his injury. The Philadelphia 76ers big man appears to be a misfit for the team's frontcourt lineup. Noel being traded this season is inevitable but the big question is where he would be traded. Rumor has it that the Los Angeles Lakers might acquire the high-flying and shot-blocking center.
ESPN reported that Noel isn't fit for the 76ers rotation anymore which led to such NBA trade rumors. It would even be harder for Noel to get more minutes once Ben Simmons return.
"I think I'm too good to be playing eight minutes. That's crazy. Need to figure this s-t out," Noel said. According to Fox Sports, there are NBA trade rumors that the Lakers trading for Noel might just be a good idea. The Lakers are in full rebuilding mode trying to put its trust in their young core.
Adding Noel to the roster would be beneficial for the Lakers since he could be their starting center and could work alongside Julius Randle at the frontcourt. He's been involved in a lot of NBA trade rumors lately and some interested teams are the Portland Trailblazer and Boston Celtics.
But the best destination for Noel would be the Lakers and he could get more playing time there since there's not a lot of big men at the center position. The Lakers trading D'Angelo Russel, Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson is a really bad idea and these players are too valuable to let go. Noel is a terrific player but injuries lowered his value in the trade market.
A possible deal for the Lakers would be trading Luol Deng. They could also trade Timofey Mozgov or Jose Calderon depending on the interest of the 76ers. If these NBA trade rumors work out, it would really benefit both teams.
