Apart from the winners, the rousing speeches, and the viral moments at the 2017 Golden Globes awards, one thing that has been talked about is the stars’ beauty looks, which seem to have been taken down a notch this year. Instead of multi-colored eyeshadow and red lipstick, most of the stars opted for a fresh look, which, oddly enough, seems appropriate enough to wear to the office.

Here are the top five makeup looks from the Golden Globes that anyone can wear to the office.

Emma Stone's rosy look

Not only did the “La La Land” actress win the Best Actress award at the Golden Globes, but the 28-year-old wowed with her glitzy gown paired with understated makeup and a soft and easy hairstyle. Makeup artist Rachel Goodwin told The Hollywood Reporter that she used a silvery-pink eyeshadow (NARS Earthshine) in the inner corner of Stone’s eyes, followed by a coat of mascara. Goodwin also used NARS Rosecliff Lipstick, a warm pink shade, to give the actress a healthy look.

Gal Gadot's clean look

DC movies’ Wonder Woman certainly glowed on the red carpet in a slinky, black and silver gown which highlighted her growing baby bump. With her hair pulled back in a braid, the spotlight was on her flawless face as she emphasized her features with a lighter take on the smoky eye, using grey and silver eye shadows instead of black. She finished her look with pink lipstick and a mauve-y blush on her cheeks.

Thandie Newton's fresh look

The “Westworld” star looked fresh with matte skin, a sheer wash of burgundy eyeshadow, and a mauve lipstick.

Jessica Biel's minimal classic look

Despite her minimal makeup look, the actress looked chic and polished at the awards ceremony. The star’s makeup artist, Kara Yoshimoto Bua, told Us Weekly that she gave her a “modern yet romantic” look with a graphic cat eye and a nude lip. After drawing a thin line above her lashes, Bua used waterproof brown mascara to emphasize Biel’s eyes. Bua also used a warm peach blush on the actress’ cheeks and finished with a swipe of Chanel Lip Crayon in Nude on the lips.

Kristen Bell's glowing look

The actress glowed in a sparkling, black gown paired with loose waves and diamond earrings. Bell’s makeup look was on point as she opted for a bronze-y eye, a wash of peach on the cheeks, and nude lipstick.
