Per project rates for a single room can range from $200 to $350.

Stay-at-home parents who love to write can sign up to be freelance article writers or bloggers. According to Lifehack, a husband and wife team who runs their freelance writing business on Elance were able to make over $460,000 in the last 12 months. Many moms and dads have also earned a lot through their blogs by way of affiliate marketing.
