Kate Moss will be gracing Playboy's 60th anniversary issue, and she will do it all the way by snapping full-frontal pics for the magazine, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

Supermodel Kate Moss will be celebrating her 40th birthday the unconventional way by doing full-frontal shoots for Playboy magazine's 60th anniversary issue.

After months of speculations on who will be gracing the famous magazine's 60th anniversary issue, Playboy's editorial director Jimmy Jellinek broke the news to the Los Angeles Times that supermodel Kate Moss will be the cover for the mag.

Playboy's founder Hugh Hefner's son Cooper confirmed the news on Sept. 17, Tuesday, when he tweeted, "Kate Moss will be gracing the cover of our 60th anniversary issue this January. It'll be a great issue."

Jellinek then explained why Moss was the best choice for the magazine's anniversary cover.

"This is a massive global brand. You need a global icon in order to celebrate that -- that was the impetus," Jellinek said. "You're talking about the face of Burberry, the biggest supermodel in the world on the cover of Playboy. She's the perfect partner for us to help launch the next 60 years."

Fashion favorites Marcus Pigott and Mert Atlas - their first assignment under the said magazine - will be shooting the pictorial for the January/February anniversary issue.

Moss will dress as a Playboy bunny on the cover with signature ears, French cuffs, and just silk stockings while inside the magazine, she will be featured in full-frontal pics.

Kate Moss' full-frontal magazine shots will arrive just in time for her 40th birthday this January.

"She's a worldwide celebrity and iconic and crosses the boundaries from sexual imagery to upscale modeling," Hefner said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. "It's a natural for us."

This is not the first time that Kate Moss will go nude for a photo shoot since she also did a few at the start of her career. In the December 2012 issue of Vanity Fair, she said she was very uncomfortable in going completely nude for the camera.

The supermodel recalled how she suffered from nervous breakdowns because of going topless for the first time, saying, "I never felt very comfortable about it," she told the magazine. "I hated my boobs! Because I was flat-chested. And I had a big mole on one."
