Anyone can be an entrepreneur as long as you have the drive and passion for doing it. Kids in today’s generation are very lucky in terms of technology growth and development because it can give them so many ideas. That is possibly one of the reasons why kids could be the best entrepreneurs.
Through media’s power, entrepreneurship is given much attention. By shows such as "Shark Tank" and knowing more about start-ups like Facebook and Snapchat a lot of kids are becoming more inclined with technology. To make it more interesting, there are also good tech camps for kids, one of which is the Vision Tech.
It is a tech camp for kids and teens with a mission to "provide science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning opportunities." They offer programs wherein it can motivate its students to enhance and learn more new STEM skills and also technology programs such as programming, game design, and the likes. One of the tech camp’s goals is to make sure that the make learning and discovery fun for their students.
These kids are blessed because if they want to pursue entrepreneurship even at a young age, they will be able to do so. Training tech camps and other resources can help them achieve that. And with that, Entrepreneur shared some good reasons why kids make amazing entrepreneurs.
First of all, a lot of kids are already becoming technology experts. In today’s modern world, kids even at a young age are already exposed to technology. It is already natural for them to deal with technology which makes it easier for them to learn about programming, developing codes and making programs. And also, kids are very creative so exploring a lot of things can be great for them.
Aside from that, kids are normally curious, and because of that, they tend to explore things to get the answers that they want. You can find that many successful entrepreneurs started their business that solves problems that you can see around. Given that, they make something convenient as a solution.
And lastly, kids are not afraid of failure, which could be their best trait. Their innocence is of great advantage. It is a fact that being an entrepreneur is not easy and that failure goes with it.
Forbes shared that if you think like a kid, then there is a good chance for you to become better in your business. Just like JT, 12, and Justin, 8, who already have a successful business named “Cash for Clutter.” The boys got their ideas through garage sales wherein they realized that the junks that other people are selling could be fixed and at the same time sold for more.
Meanwhile, Jobs & Hire reported that there are kids who are self-made millionaires and that is because they are hard-working, determined and goal oriented.
