3 Things You Can Do With Amazon Echo But Not With Google Home

Amazon Echo and Google Home are household names when it comes to voice-activated speakers that aid us in our everyday tasks such as shopping, events planning, and more. But while they both have similar features, each one is also able to do something the other can't.
CNET published an article on the things that Amazon Echo can do but Google Home cannot—or at least is not able to do yet. Check them out below.
Track shipment
Amazon Echo makes it possible for you to track your shipments when you order things through Amazon, writes CNET. All you have to do is ask Alexa, "Alexa, where's my stuff?"
Alexa doesn't give you the exact location of where the product is in transit. What are you going to do with longitudes and latitudes, anyway?
Neither will she give you the status of your shipment. Instead, CNET writes that Alexa gives you the package's estimated time of arrival.
Google Home can't track orders as of the present moment. If you do attempt to track your package, it will only reply with "I can't do that yet," according to CNET. This means it will only be a matter of time until it catches up to Alexa.
Read books
In case you want someone to read you a story before bed or during any time of the day, just ask Alexa. According to CNET, Amazon Echo is capable of playing audio books and reading books out loud which is perfect for lulling your children to sleep.
CNET writes that you simply instruct Alexa, "Alexa, play _______" or "Alexa, read _______." It adds that you can't do this with Google Home unless you work around it by streaming the audio book through the speaker or use the Read Aloud feature in Google Play Books.
Amazon Music
For obvious reasons, Amazon Echo does not support Google Play Music and YouTube Music seeing as Google Home is its competitor. However, you do have Amazon Music and Prime Music along with other supported platforms such as Spotify, Pandora, etc.
There are other things Alexa can do. Read CNET's full article to find out.
