Shooting In A Mall Near New York Leaves 1 Dead

Authorities have just confirmed a shooting spree at the Roosevelt Field Mall, in Garden City, New York. The shooting did not occur inside the mall, but rather, near it at around 10:30 A.M. . The incident has left the vicinity on lockdown, with streets closed off as police investigate.
Right after the shooting occurred, helicopters were observed to fly over the area. Dozens of policemen also headed straight to the Savenergy lighting company, where the shooting apparently started. As of reporting, two employees have been shot, and one of them has died. The state of the other victim is currently unknown.
Superintendents of the nearby public schools have decided to hold all of their students inside their buildings as of this time. All Garden City public schools are also on lockdown as of press time.
Authorities have released a description of the suspect allegedly responsible for the shooting. He is said to be an Asian man, about 6"2' in height, and was identified as Sang Ho Kim. Police seem t believe that the shooting was not a random act, and the gunman is still out there, armed and dangerous. The gunman is a former employee of Savenergy and was seen in the vicinity wearing a gray or brown suit jacket. His car, a white Honda pilot, has been identified as FMA 3648.
The hunt is still on for the gunman as dozens of police are still combing the area for signs of him. Shoppers inside the nearby mall are currently not allowed out for safety reasons.
Local shoppers are, logically, worried and scared. A shopper expressed to being "on edge" especially after the recent mall shooting in Kenya.
Garden is about half an hour away from New York City and is known to be an affluent community.
