Apple Inc. recently announced that they are having a good business in Asia, especially with their iPhone 5S Gold. "We underestimated Asian's desire for iPhone 5S Gold, as we consider Asia to be of Samsung's business territory", Tim Cook, Apple's CEO stated.

According to Apple Inc., Asians adore gold color more than any metal compare to their neighboring country, which helps in the rise of iPhone 5S gold. They added that gold symbolized economic stability, especially in Middle East and mainland China.

Asian- Americans are also said to fetishized iPhone gold. Proof to that are the costumers in New York 5th Avenue Store, where majority of the shoppers are Asians.

In addition, Wall Street report stated that, only iPhone 5S Black is available in China yesterday, "I preferred 5S gold than 5C because it is the first iPhone offered in gold", 23 year old local TV host Xian Lim said. He added that he doesn't care about the hardware or software, "Chinese loves gold", Lim says.

Hong Kong's case is the same with China, as iPhone 5S Gold is preferable than the 5C. "The plated metal gold casing is attractive compare to the black 5C, which is much better in the eyes", marketing head department employee Mike Wong said.

iPhone 5S was sold out in Asian market after a day, hence more production is needed to compensate for the number of supply demanded by the public. The MacRumors report says that iPhone 5S gold will temporarily out in the market, both Asia and in the US, until October this year due to the lack of supply.

Despite of the "sold out 5S report in Asia", still some find it unreliably untrue. "I don't think that Apple will surpass Samsung in Asia, the report is just for publicity just to say that Apple is kicking in sale", Neil Smith, Asian Bank Beijing said.
