iPad Mini 2 Release Date: Gold iPad Mini 2 With Touch ID Most Likely For The Holidays

Gold iPad mini images have already been leaked online by Chinese site DoNews and Martin Hajek, product prognosticator, has revealed that these iPads in champagne gold will most likely come with Touch ID fingerprint scanner, Forbes reported Friday.
According to reports, golden iPads will quite possibly be released for the holidays. And aside from having that same bold color the iPhone 5s gold bears, Apple's new iPads will come with Touch ID. However, International Business Times pointed out while this may be good news to fans, the supply of the new iPad Mini with Retina display will be delayed until early 2014.
Sonny Dickson, the one who revealed the pre-release photos of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, tweeted that Apple might also be launching iPad mini 2 in "space grey." He even included a photo of an unassembled "space grey" iPad on his tweet.
Dickson also added that the new iPad mini will come in silver as well, so that gives everyone a variety of iPads to choose from this time around. He also leaked that the new generation of mini iPads will feature Apple's new A7 64-bit chip, the M7 motion coprocessor used in the iPhone 5s, and 1 GB of RAM.
On the other hand, the 9.7-inch iPad 5 was revealed of having 2GB of RAM for faster and better performance. Nonetheless, aside from that the software and form factor of the upcoming iPad would still be the same ones found on the mini.
Possible release date announcement for the new iPads are October 15th and the 22nd. Meanwhile, the Retina iPad Mini, although it will be announced in the same dates, shipping will not be revealed until certain info about its supply has been obtained.
Nothing has been confirmed by Apple as of late, but TechCrunch insisted that Dickson's reputation for accurate leakage is as genuine as real gold.
