Elon Musk blasted MacKenzie Scott's charitable donations in an X post, which he deleted shortly after it was published online on Wednesday evening.

Despite his attempts to remove the post, screenshots criticizing Scott, the wealthy philanthropist and former wife of Jeff Bezos, have already circulated online.

Bezos recently surpassed Musk as the world's wealthiest person, donating billions to various causes she supports.

Elon Musk Lashing Out on MacKenzie Scott's Charity

Musk wrote that "super rich ex-wives who hate their former spouses should be listed among "Reasons that Western Civilization died."

Since acquiring the social media platform, Musk has been recognized for exhibiting typical human behavior. However, even someone who strongly supports free speech sometimes removes posts when they cross a certain boundary.

Musk's post was a response to a user on X who criticized Scott for donating money to organizations focused on race and gender-related issues following her divorce from the Amazon founder in 2019 after 25 years of marriage. Musk deleted the post a few hours later.

Musk dislikes Scott for her charitable donations to political action committees supporting the Democratic Party. In May 2022, Musk claimed on social media that Scott was funding PACs masquerading as charities.

Musk suggested that Mackenzie Scott is not supportive of her ex-husband, noting that many others get "caught in the crossfire."
