A baby for Miley? This was conclusion that many arrived with after Miley Cyrus took to the stage at the BET Hip Hop awards with rapper Juicy J. While everyone was expecting the pair to promote their upcoming single "23", they took the opportunity to say that Miley was expecting a baby with the rapper, shocking audiences in the process.

Juicy J has been working with Miley on their new track "23", but the two have also been seen hanging out a lot.

Juicy J apparently started out the conversation by saying, "I assure you she's been doing a lot more than twerking,". Then, Miley supposedly blurts out that she's pregnant.

The crowd at the awards show reportedly thought that Miley's announcement was a joke, meeting it with laughter. This was until Miley Cyrus clarified with a "No, I'm really pregnant".

The singer's father, Billy Rae Cyrus, apparently took to the stage and announced that his daughter "really broke my achy breaky heart". Of course, the line is a reference to the country singer's hit song from decades ago.

The BET Hip Hop awards show will be televised on October 15, so Miley's fans can see for themselves if the artist was joking, or being completely serious.

Following the baby announcement, a report surfaced that Miley Cyrus apparently had another pregnancy scare when she was still with ex fiancé Liam Hemsworth. The scare was supposedly the reason why Liam stayed on in the relationship longer than he wanted to.

A friend of Miley's has supposedly told OK Magazine, that Miley wanted to announce the news to the public even before she had gone to see a doctor. It was Liam who apparently begged her not to do it.

There has not been any official statement yet from Miley Cyrus' reps.
