iPad fans are on edge, expecting the new iPad 5 to be released anytime soon.

Fans recall how iPad 4 was released in October 2012, a mere six months after the release of it its predecessor the iPad 3. Predictions for the iPad 5 release have all been wrong so far, but an investor have said that autumn would be a potential release date.

"Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can't wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014." Apple CEO Tim Cook says of the iPad 5 release dates.

But now, more on the iPad 5.

The iPad 5 screen will also have high resolution, much like the iPhone 4 had, and will also share the same screen size of 9.7 inches, with a 2,730x1,536 pixel resolution, but this does not seem like something that Apple would do.

There have however been rumors that the iPad 5 will be based off of the design of the iPad Mini. Sources have pointed out that the screen is narrower, and the glass much thinner. A side by side analysis of some updated users have shown three iPads of succeeding generations side by side, with the iPad 5  looking visibly smaller than the iPad 4.

The iPad will also have a Touch ID on its Home button, like the iPhone 5. thTou ID, while limited to locking the phone, has potential of expanding onto tightening the security of apps, purchase and accounts in the future.

The iPad 5 camera will have a higher resolution camera than the iPad 4, with the iPad 4 having a 5-megapixel sensor, while the iPad 5 has an 8-megapixel sensor. Memory will also be an improvement, promising over the 128CB capacity present in the iPad 4.

The iPad 5 should start out at 399 pounds for the 16GB model...meaning it will come out with more or less the same prices as the current iPad 4.
