The coronation night of the world's most prestigious beauty pageant is just a couple of weeks away. The delegates of Miss Universe 2013 are all seeking after the glorious crown and the title to become world's most beautiful woman.
Out of the pageant's 87 contestants, only one will surface to become this year's Miss Universe. The coronation night, which will happen in Moscow's Crocus City Hall, has been attracting thousands of spectators and giving out excitement to fans all across the globe.
Three contestants are standing out to nab the crown so they can bring the prestige back to their home countries. One of them is Miss Philippines, Ariella Arida. As early as now, Arida is getting a lot of buzz due to the astounding consecutive wins of her fellow Filipino beauty queens back home: Megan Young won Miss World, while Mutya Datul was crowned Miss Supranational.
Two Miss Universe delegates this year are also said have Filipino blood. Miss Canada, Riza Santos, became a reality celebrity when she appeared in "Pinoy Big Brother," the Philippines' version of Big Brother. Jennifer Ondo Mouchita, Miss Gabon, also has Filipino ancestry and can even speak the Tagalog language fluently.
Aside from these beauties, Miss Australia's Olivia Wells is quickly becoming a fan favorite. The 19-year-old model has been coined to have the "face of a modern Miss Universe" because of her strong features and glamorous demeanor. It wouldn't be a surprise if the lovely lass from down under will end up wearing the coveted crown.
Lastly, USA's Erin Brady is also in the fast run for the title. The 25-year-old financial accountant from Connecticut has the brains, looks, and charisma to bag the title effortlessly. Brady's coronation, if it will happen, will give USA two consecutive Miss Universe crowns, as the title's successor, Olivia Culpo, is also an American.
