One Justin Bieber fan took the extra length to live the singer's life vicariously. Toby Sheldon spent over $100,000 on surgeries so he can look exactly like the teen idol, from the facial features to the singer's hair.

Surely, fandom can be a fascinating thing, and it became "too real" for one 33-year-old singer/songwriter, when he decided he wants to look exactly like Justin Bieber. Toby Sheldon became willing to shell out his life savings as long as it will mean sporting the face of one of the world's famous performers, Justin Bieber.

Bizarre and shocking, Toby said that seeing Justin's face plastered everywhere became his motivation to look like the star.

"Once Justin shot to fame his face was everywhere and I all I kept thinking when I saw his picture was, 'I want to look like him,'" says Sheldon, as reported by NY Daily News.

As facial surgeries take time to undergo and develop, Toby shares that the first step he took to looking like Bieber was hair transplants. It was reported that the aspiring star spent $21,000 for him to achieve Justin Bieber's signature locks. He said he brought a photo of Justin and showed it to his surgeon so the doctor will know what he wants.

"It took three transplants and a total of $21,000 to accurately lower my hair line, close off my temples and grow back my bangs," mentions Toby in the same NY Daily News post.

After getting hair transplants, Toby had several Botox and Aquamid injections done to his face, lips, cheeks and jawbones. An eyelid surgery that costs $5,000 and a three-part smile surgery came next, making him closer to achieving his "dream look." Toby added that his fear of aging made his decision to undergo surgeries even stronger.

"I didn't necessarily listen to his music or fawn over him as a celebrity, but his face was just so flawless every change I made was modeled after him... When I first sought out to look like Justin I only paid attention to specific aspects of his boyish look like his hair and the structure of his face." suggests Sheldon.
