What to expect from he new iPad 5?
One thing that is already common knowledge abut the iPad 5 is that it will have undergone a total design overhaul, and is to be adopting a look closely resembling the iPad mini than the former iPad incarnations. It will be visibly smaller and lighter than the iPad 4, but will still have the same hi-def 9.7 inch retina display.
The new iPad 5 will also be available in black and space gray, in addition to the silver and white combination that is the Apple design trademark. iPad devotees are wondering if if the iPad 5 will be including the Touch ID with the finger scanner, which had been introduced with the iPhone 5s. A leaked photo of the new iPad 5 shows that it has an embedded scanner.
The new iPad 5 debuts on October 22, and is expected to be available in the same prixes and sizes as the curernt iPad 4 and iPad mini.
The Apple press conference will begin at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 22.
