If you like waking up to the smell of bacon in the morning (or anytime of the day for that matter), you can finally say "there's an app for that."

There is a new technology in which a smartphone pug in accessory can release small fumes of bacony goodness into the air at your command-- through calls, notifications, texts...now you can take a whiff of the delicious, crisp, breakfast item  anytime you please.

"It attaches to headphone sockets on both iPhones and Android smartphones and, when told to by the companion app, releases a burst of fragrance, paired with a customizable LED light," says a report about the delicious app.

The attachable smartphone app also comes in other scents such as coffee and strawberry, but let's be honest, who wants a whiff of coffee or strawberry when you have bacon as an option.

No word yet on how this would be good news for dieters or vegans.

The app also has a timer that users can set, and can release the bacon scent as often as you want it. The bacony goodness coems in capsules that are good for 100 uses (in this case, users will have to restrain themselves from having the app release bacon scents every fifteen minutes or so) and the capsules cost around $5 dollars.
