50 Cent Charged With Vandalism

Curtis Jackson , who was once known in the rap game as 50 Cent , pleaded no contest to vandalism charges. He did this in order to avoid getting hit with the more serious charge of domestic violence against his ex- girl friend.
After his plea the rapper turned actor , is being offered a deal where he would avoid the jail time and will instead be sentenced to thirty six months of unsupervised probation. If he had been convicted of all five counts, the sentence would have come with up to five years in jail and forty six thousand dollars in fines.
This is for an incident that occurred at his ex- girlfriend Daphne Joy's Los Angeles condo last June. An argument between the couple ensued and Jackson went wild . He destroyed Joy's property and when she ran and locked herself into the bathroom, Jackson kicked the bathroom door down and then proceeded to kick Joy.
When Police arrived at the scene of the crime they described what sounded more like a wild animal rampage as they found the glass of broken chandeliers on the floor, as well as the remains of her ransacked closet scattered about the house. No speculation made as to how chandeliers were broken in a domestic dispute. It could only be speculated that this would have to happen by them being swung upon or pulled down directly.
Fifty's plea of no contest , does not mean he admits guilt but is considered a conviction and comes with thirty days of community service, a year of domestic violence counselling ,along with paying for the seven thousand dollars worth of damages Joy's property, along with compliance to a stay away protective order Joy filed against him, not to mention handing over all weapons he might have in his possession, so its a good thing his days rapping about guns are done .
He was also handed papers in regard to the custody case of their child, who is the real victim, after said child was had by Joy and Jackson had during the course of their three year relationship, who Jackson should have considered before his actions and will no doubt require more than the year's worth of counselling it's father is going to receive. This is not the rappers first run in with the law, as according to his urban legend he started selling drugs at the age of 12.
