A man armed with an assault rifle opened fire at Los Angeles Airport Friday morning; a TSA agent was killed and seven more were injured.
With no clue in regards to the motive, federal law enforcement offical said that the gunman was a regular ticketed passenger entering the airport on his way to Terminal 3.
"Heard gun shots then everyone starting running for the door," said Tory Belleci who works in Mythbusters television show.
According to Patrick Gannon, LAX police chief, the gunman entered Terminal 3 at 9:20 am, pulled an assault rifle out of his bag and started to fire moving from one area to another.
"He got past the checkpoint and moved into the terminal," Gannon added. "Authorities tracked him and shot him down near a Burger King."
