The Miss Universe 2013 beauty pageant is perhaps the most talked about pageant as of late. And today a new update on the Miss Universe competition will surely be the talk of the town until its finals night arrives this November 9, Sunday.

Just a couple of hours ago, five judges of the final event were named as judges to the Miss Universe 2013 pageant, including Steven Tyler, Carol Alt, Tara Lipinski, Chef Nobu, and Anne V, The Wrap reported.

Steven Tyler is famous for being the lead singer of the Boston-based rock band Aerosmith. And after serving as a judge on the 'American Idol' for two seasons, Tyler has announced that he has signed on to the panel of judges, who will be scoring the lovely 86 Miss Universe 2013 candidates this year.

Model-TV personality Carol Alt was also named as part of the panel of judges. Alt also has a long track of mainstream movies including: 'Thunder in Paradise,' 'Private Parts,' 'Snakehead Terror,' ''To Rome with Love' and 'The Man Who Came Back.'

Olympic skater Tara Lipinski may be a retired American figure skater, but she has earned a lot of medals and recognitions throughout her career. Lipinski's greatest achievement was winning an Olympic gold medal in the ladies' singles figure skating 1998 Winter Olympics at the age of 15.

Chef Nobu also joins this year's Miss Universe 2013 panel of judges. Nobuyuki "Nobu" Matsuhisa is well-known for being a celebrity chef and a restaurateur, who blends traditional Japanese cuisine with South American ingredients.

Anne V or Anne Sergeyevna Vyalitsyna is a Russian model. It is not surprising that she is joining the panel of judges for the Miss Universe competition this year, for she has established a record for her nine-consecutive run of appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

The Miss Universe 2013 will be holding its finals night at Crocus City Hall in Moscow Russia this coming Nov. 9.The hosts for this year's competition are ''MSNBC Live' host Thomas Roberts and 'America's Got Talent' judge Mel B. The two will be replacing the two-time co-hosts for the Miss Universe competition: Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic.

It can be noted that Cohen bowed out from the competition this year because of Russia's anti-gay laws, which led to Donald Trump and Miss Universe Organization President Paula M. Shugart's decision to find a new duo for this year.

Mel or Melanie Brown reportedly hosted the Miss Universe competition in 2008, when it was held in Vietnam.
