After last week's unexpected twist in "Dead Man Walking," NBC's Revolution is back for a more solid plotline that will continue to bring in more unsettling twists. And one of which is the guest appearance of Emmy-winning actor Zeljko Ivanek, who is going to play the cunning role of a "Dr. Horn," who is believed to have his ways when it comes to doing some spine-tingling task. Dr. Horn is said to work for the Patriots, and although he may bring in the creeps to the show fans, a surprising twist will help them understand the estranged personality of the doctor. Revolution star Elizabeth Mitchell, who plays Rachel, dished to TVLine recently about this Dr. Horn and the addition of his former 'Lost' hubby Zeljko Ivanek into the series. "Yeah, and he's kind of creepy! And it's amazing that he's so creepy on camera because he's such a kind, gentle man in life. I find him very fun to play with - he's always well prepared and ready to go, doesn't miss a beat," she said. "They've kind of alluded to the fact that he is a terrifying presence. He reminds me of any kind of a war crimes doctor, in that there's something about him that is truly, truly scary... But what I feel like they've done, which is interesting, is they've made him very human. I can't say why that is, because it hasn't happened yet, but he's not just dark. You can see why he does what he does. I like that in a character. Tune in to NBC tonight at 8/7c, or watch Revolution season 2 episode 7 online using the live stream free link below.
Meanwhile, spoilers for Revolution season 2 episode 7 revealed that Rachel will discover some "unsettling truths," and according to Mitchell, who did not divulge at least one of her character's discovery, Rachel will try to take steps accordingly, but when all things fail, she has Miles (Billy Burke) to help her overcome these obstacles. Additionally, since we were touched by last week's Rachel-Charlie reunion, can we expect the two to finally sort out their issues with each other? Well the answer is a big YES. Mitchell talked about Rachel and the progress in her relationship with Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) in the upcoming episode. "There is some sweet stuff coming up, which is good. It's always hard to see two people who love each other at odds all the time," she said. Mitchell even dished that she really felt the pain her character had to go through in last week's episode. "That was one of the things in watching that, it was so heartbreaking for Rachel. Inside she was like, "Why can't I just be present, why can't I put my arms around her?" But so often pride and anger and fear keep us from doing what we should, letting the people we love know that we love them. It was very human, but very, very sad." Since the episode synopsis for Revolution's seventh episode this season "The Patriot Act" states that Neville and Jason will find it a struggle to deal with each other as father and son, Mitchell also talked about what fans can expect from the two. "Neville is on his own adventure right now, and its about to get really hot, which I really like," she said on Neville's (Giancarlo Esposito) personal fight against the Patriots. "For all intents and purposes, he's our best hope right now." Watch Revolution season 2 episode 7 "The Patriot Act" online.
As for Miles and Monroe (David Lyons), the actress also told TVLine about their relationship after Monroe's ordeal. "Their bromance is alive and well. I'm like, "Get a room." [Laughs] I can't speak for Miles, but from the watching of it, he seems very torn. He loves this guy and he doesn't want anything to happen to him, but.... In the thinking of it, he seems like a drug to me. I've never been addicted to anything, but it does seem to have those qualities," the actress shared, adding, " Like, 'I can't let him go but I can't have him with me, but I still keep him around.' It feels very fraught to me, and that's what makes it work."
