Scandal season 3 episode 7 is going to be bumpy ride with all the constant question of Olivia on the real motive behind her mother's death. Last week's "Icarus" episode clearly sparked a lot of intriguing questions and discussions on what really happened during the crash and whether or not Fitz intended to kill Olivia Pope's (Kerry Washington) mother. Then, there is also the trouble with the election campaign, which is somehow blossoming for better for Josephine Marcus. This week, Scandal is absolutely giving us some answers, but we are not yet certain whether fans will like it or not. What's great about shows like this is of course the idea of having the main character go through some tough challenge in facing a scandal of her own. And the way we see it, Liv is not going to be very happy at the end of this week's episode. But someone else would be very happy to hear that she has the upper hand in the coming elections. A sneak peek to Scandal season 3 episode 7 "Everything's Coming Up Mellie" shows Olivia telling someone that she is apparently being surrounded by murderers. Poor Liv. The promo then gets more dramatic and intense as it says, "The deeper Olivia digs, the more dirty, dangerous, and deadly her world become." But nothing is as shocking as Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) says, "I did what needed to be done." Then, as promised by the episode synopsis we are going to discover how Fitz, Cyrus, and Mellie formed a team. Aside from that, there will be more things to come Mellie's way including a hard-hitting interview. Meanwhile, actress Lisa Kudrow, who plays Josephine Marcus, recently opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about her character. "I thought, "Who's going to believe that!" (Laughs.) [Showrunner] Shonda Rhimes and [writer/EP] Mark Wilding were saying the role wasn't Sarah Palin, it was that kind of straight-talking person who captures the attention of the public," she said, adding, "She's not a fast-talking politician; she's someone who we think is a good person." Then, she also talked about her character's daughter, Candy. "It feels like she's (Candy) got propriety issues and she's wondering why Josie invited these people [Olivia and her associates] into their campaign and life because they're sneaky. It seems like that's bugging her and Candy wants to prove herself as being competent. It could create a problem, but I can't say more!" Watch Scandal season 3 episode 7 online.
