Justin Bieber has the attention of everyone Down Under, this time not for his songs and fan-girl appeal but for spray-painting the walls of a hotel near Brisbane.

The 'Baby' singer was ordered by the Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate to clean up the mess he did and advised to be a better example to his young fans and followers. The graffiti that Bieber spray-painted on the walls was considered a form of vandalism and is punishable by community service. The Mayor expects to have Justin Bieber's 'work of art' removed and had a cleaning kit delivered to the singer's hotel room.

Bieber who came to fame at a very young age grew up in the spotlight under the tutelage of RnB singer/producer Usher. The media who has been following Bieber's every move has witnessed and documented the singer's controversial moments in his career.

But this time, Mayor Tate is willing to overlook the situation if Bieber will lend his vocal skills in the upcoming Mayor's Christmas Carol event on the 7th of December. According to the Mayor, a normal person would have to serve 80 to 100 hours of community service but he will make exceptions if the singer will sing at the event and give the locals a boost.

The Mayor however mentioned to AAP that the last thing he wants "to have graffiti glorified and more young people thinking it's a cool thing to do."

Bieber also vandalized a hotel in Brazil weeks before the incident in Australia. The singer is said to be in Australia for the time of the Mayor's Christmas Carol Event.
