Hollywood stars, actors, actresses, and celebrities are undeniably some of the richest people in the planet. From movie deals to advertisements deals, these stars just earn millions of cash without a doubt. But if you think that their fortune are infinite, think again. These 10 celebrities have gone broke or bankrupt at some point and although some of them have triumphed in earning what they lost, there are those who certainly had a hard time dealing with bouncing checks and whatnot.

10. At number 10 is our favorite leading man Nicolas Cage, who may have earned as much as $150 million in his acting stint, but surprisingly went broke after spending much of his fortune on a lavish lifestyle. The actor even confessed to People magazine a couple of years ago that he used to owe as much as $14 taxes. Fortunately, Cage decided to sell some of his possessions to pay his debt.

9. Who can forget the actress that has captured the hearts of many teens for her 'Mean Girls' lead role, but it is not unknown to all how Lindsay Lohan struggled following the peak of her teenage career. And now Lohan had her accounts frozen by the IRS for owing an unbelievably huge sum of money amounting to $234,000. Good thing she had Charlie Sheen as co-actor in Scary Movie 5. The 'Two and a Half Men' ex-star reportedly helped Lohan pay her debt.

8. Mary J. Blige can produce good music but she can't produce enough money to settle her $3.4 million tax trouble. What's more shocking is the fact that Blige's charity foundation was reportedly sued after its failure to pay a $250,000 loan. She hasn't revealed yet whether she has dealt with these problems already though.

7. Brendan Frazer may have seen the millions worth of treasures inside the pyramids, but 'The Mummy' star was nowhere near the real fortunes in life when he revealed that he got severely ill and was forced to bow out from some of his projects. This stirred trouble for the actor who finally claimed that he was suffering from financial crisis such that his maintenance and child support payments had been reduced.

6. Now who would believe that Kim Basinger has gone broke in the past? Absolutely no one until she filed for bankruptcy after she bought a town in Braselton, Georgia for a whopping $20 million. She also faced an $8.1 million lawsuit for breach of contract from a 1993 movie titled 'Boxing Helena.'

5. Oops! Looks like Toni Braxton couldn't unbreak her heart when she realized when she was running dry financially. The famous singer may have sold over 20 million records, but she shocked the world when she filed for bankruptcy following a legal battle against her recording company.

4. The young Carter was once one of the most successful child stars, but Aaron Carter definitely shocked us all when he recently filed for bankruptcy after facing a $2 million debt. Sadly, his older brother Nick Carter didn't like to meddle in his financial problems.

3. If you are aware that Larry King is one of the most successful TV hosts, then perhaps you wouldn't believe that King has filed for bankruptcy in the past. What's even worse is that aside from amassing a very huge debt he was also accused of stealing a large sum of cash from his own business partner.

2. Janice Dickinson has absolutely proven that she is undeniably gorgeous. Like who wouldn't agree to that given the fact he she is often referred to as the world's first supermodel? Anyway, that is beside the point here. Dickinson has filed for bankruptcy just this April after obtaining about $1 million in debt for her taxes and medical bills.

1. On top of our list is someone everyone surely does not expect to be included in this 10 broke or bankrupt celebs.
