Police investigate an altercation gone wrong in the parking lot of Arrowhead Stadium. A man was taken to the hospital and died a few moments later. It is currently being investigated as an Arrowhead homicide.

The deceased was involved in a fight after a car owner found him inside his vehicle. The two got into a physical altercation and the deceased was forced to be taken to the hospital.

While there have been no arrests, police are questioning people of interest. There have been three viable suspects but no definitive charges in the Arrowhead homicide case. The cause of death was not made public. Kansas City police spokesperson, Darin Snapp, does say that the victim is in his late 20's but did not reveal the deceased's name.

Although it is still possible that the Arrowhead homicide may have been triggered by a previously existing medical condition, Snapp says the authorities will be treating it as a homicide until they discover otherwise. As of the moment it is nothing more but a suspicious death but the police want to treat the incident as a homicide.

Very little information about the Arrowhead is forthcoming. What is clear is that the owner of the vehicle in question and his son found the victim in his car, which the latter had no reason to be inside. The two men fought and the victim collapsed. The son called for help and paramedics responded. He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

It is unknown whether the two men were acquainted or if they were there for a game. In a similar incident in 2012, a gunman attacked a Kansas City Royals employee in the same parking lot. The employee was shot once in the abdomen. This Arrowhead homicide ended with the gunman committing suicide inside his vehicle.
