It's perhaps one of the saddest news for msnNOW fans as the famous trendsetter has finally bid its goodbye today. For some it may have come as a surprise, but for loyal readers who already saw msnNOW's notice last month that today is its final and last publishing day, they were already expecting this event to happen, but it is still quite sad all the same.

After running almost 2 prolific and fruitful years since it was launched in Feb. 12, 2012, msnNOW has finally come to an end. So goodbye to the platform that has focused mainly on spotting the 'now' and sharing emerging internet trends to everyone in the world real-time.

For its last publication, msnNOW has featured some of its most viewed, top shared, and best of the best stories, videos, and photos. Some of the things msnNOW has singled out on its final post include: the collection of hearts in nature photos, Jay Leno has pump prank, the hero mama dog story, and the heart-wrenching photo of a boy who lost his Army father, among others.

The final post of msnNOW also expressed the sincere gratitude of the site to its loyal readers and commenters. At the end of the post, msnNOW encourages its patrons to check out MSN News' newest offering: the Offbeat News.
