Kiera Knightley is certainly getting more bang for her buck: the Love Actually has been spotted wearing her wedding dress for the third time. The powder pink Chanel Haute Couture dress which she wore on her wedding May of this year has been making the rounds again as Knightley took it out for another spin at the Serious Fun gala in London on Tuesday night.

The dress, which was made especially for her by designer Karl Lagerfeld, was first worn at a pre-BAFTA party, where Knightley styled it with tights and matching black coat. The dress' next outing was at none other than the actress' wedding day with custom made Chanel bridal flats in the streets of Marzan, France. The latest dress sighting was at the fore mentioned gala where the 28-year-old paired it with subtle Jimmy Choo stiletto sandals and a sheer overlay with embroidered neck and wrist lines.

While most brides are not in the habit of repeating their bridal frocks, the face of Coco Mademoiselle is proving that she doesn't care for any of the conventional wedding rules. From the way she chose a dress right out of her closet on the big day itself to its reincarnation over time, Knightley is not following any fashion rules to say the least.

Many fashionistas have noticed that the dress worn at the Serious Fun gala was slightly puffier but could have been achieved by placing a petticoat underneath the dress. Telegraph UK reported that a Chanel representative has confirmed that the dress is indeed from the label's past collections, a 2006 haute couture spring/summer collection to be exact.

Knightley has played the Chanel founder, Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel in a mini film that marks the luxurious brand's 100^th anniversary which will be released next week. A fitting choice for a fashion maven who not only values style but longevity in all her fashion choices, don't you think?
