Forbes Publishes List of Most Overpaid Actors for the Year 2013

Forbes has released their annual list of most overpaid actors for the year 2013 and actor Adam Sander has topped them all. Best known for his roles in classics such as Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer and Fifty First Dates, the SNL alumnus has yet to star in another hit. Most recently he made That's My Boy with Andy Samberg, another SNL alum.
The calculation is as follows according to UK's The Independent: "Forbes examined the last three films each Hollywood actor had starred in over the past three years up to 1 June, taking pay, film budgets and expenses into account to work out their average 'return on investment number'."
Some actors who have made unquestionable flops could not be part of the list as a time frame was also implemented. This is how Drew Barrymore missed the mark this year according to Forbes: "Drew Barrymore, who has appeared on out overpaid list in past years, was disqualified this year because she didn't have enough films for our time frame." The time frame being the last three years to July 1 of 2013.
What that basically means is that Adam Sandler and those with him on the list should pull up their acting chops if they want to give their audience and investors their money's worth. Celebrities who have also made the list are: Katherine Heigl, Reese Witherspoon, Kevin James (who has made the list for the fifth time in his career), and Steve Carell.
While no one wants to admit that they aren't pulling their weight, actors can't really complain about being put on the list. They still make more money than the average Joe and are pampered and coddled while they're at it too.
It might sting a little but the reality is that these stars are still laughing all the way to the bank.
