Another report on Hollywood Rapper Lil Wayne being dead has been circulating social networking sites, according to a report by Inquisitr.com.

The latest news comes from Facebook with a video titled "RIP Rapper Lil Wayne Found Dead" circulating in the social networking site. According to the report, it's difficult to verify the source of this latest among the many rumors of the rapper dying.

However, the video that is circulating prompts Facebook users to share the video with friends before they can view it. In the past, prompting users to share a video link was used by hackers as a template for viruses. It aimed to hack into users' personal information.

Lil Wayne, whose name in real life is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., is considered as one of the most influential rapper in the U.S. today and has been the center of fake death reports. The numerous celebrity death hoaxes include one reported in the spring of this year and another one in the summer.

What is true, however, is that earlier this year, Lil Wayne faced an actual death scare after being hospitalized for seizures. The event, although true, was sensationalized by celebrity entertainment outlet TMZ and reported that the Hollywood rapper was already on his death bed. The TMZ report also said that Lil Wayne received his last rites and that the rapper's mother was flying to see him to decide whether to pull the plug.

Lil Wayne dismissed the TMZ report and said that it was off the mark, but he acknowledged that the situation he was in at the time of the report was quite serious.

"The thing is, man, the bad news is, I'm an epileptic, so I'm prone to seizures," Wayne said in a radio interview. "This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures; y'all just never hear about it.

"This time it got real bad because I got three of 'em in a row, and on the third one, my heart rate went down to, like, 30 percent. Basically, I could've died soon. That's why it was so serious.", he said. "The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself. That's typical me, though."
