Yvette Prieto, basketball legend Michael Jordan's wife, is confirmed to be pregnant with identical twin girls earlier today.

It's been a busy year for Jordan, who turned 50 years old, as ascertained by his Sports Illustrated covers and got married to Prieto earlier this year.
Jordan and his wife, Yvette Prieto, have only recently learned about the sex of their babies and excitedly shared the news soon after they've confirmed it.

The twins will be Jordan's fourth and fifth children. He also has a daughter and two sons from previous marriage with ex-wife, Juanita. The twin girls will be part of what has been a significant change in Jordan's domestic life.

ESPN's Wright Thompson chronicled Jordan's life earlier this year and said that the changes the basketball legend made are mainly because of his wife, Yvette. He further shared that Prieto offers Jordan "the best hope to rediscover pieces of the boy who wrote those letters from college."

Yvette Prieto married the Charlotte Bobcats owner last April 27 during a stylish Palm Beach ceremony.

The couple decided to tie the knot after dating for five years and cohabiting for four. 500 people witnessed the celebrity couple's nuptials at Episcopal Church Bethesda-by-the-Sea while another 1,500 guests joined them at the reception held in the Bears Club. Jordan recently had a 38,000-square-feet mansion built inside the golf course community designed by Jack Nicklaus.

For the wedding, Prieto wore a sheath-stye gown made from French silk voile which was created by J'Aton Couture, according to the Associated Press.

Yvette Prieto reportedly met Jordan in a nightclub in Miami and the two have lived together after dating for a year since 2009. The basketball star popped the question in 2011.

Prieto was also known for dating Enrique Iglesias' older brother, Julio Iglesias Jr., several years ago.
