Taco Bell shooting -- police officers from Denver are still combing through the town for the possible gunman involved in the shooting which had taken place at a Taco Bell branch last Friday night.

The Taco Bell shooting reportedly took place around nine in the evening, confirmed the Denver police through their Twitter account.
Police still remain unsure regarding the motives of the perpetrator behind the shooting however several Denver Post and CBS Denver reports point out that the shooting might have been part of a robbery attempt.

The cases of reported shootings across the United States have dramatically increased just over the past month or two.

Another shooting incident had reportedly taken place in a "Christmas in the Park" event in San Jose, California just this previous Friday. Two people had been injured during the incident, one of the victim's of the crime needing surgery for "life-threatening gunshot wounds."

Tuesday last week was also a busy night as another incident of shooting took place, only this time in Reno, Nevada. The gunman had opened fire at the Renown Regional Medical Center, critically injuring two citizens and killing two more, including the gunman himself. The shooter had reportedly started blasting bullets in the medical institution before concluding the shooting by taking one of the bullets himself.

A year ago, another Taco Bell shooting incident took place in a Columbia branch where the manager of the store was shot dead in front of the famous food chain.

This Friday's Taco Bell shooting incident had left one injured, the victim currently at the local hospital being treated.

"I was just working in the back room and I came up to see my girlfriend. I was walking through my department and they had the bathrooms blocked off and they were already to shoot because somebody was in there. They told me to get out of the way because they thought shots were going to get fired. The guy comes out of the bathroom and it was just a customer. It must have scared the crap out of him," shared the victim whose name was not disclosed by the police.

Official reports show that the police have not yet named a suspect for the case but they have two names they're currently investigating as the possible perpetrators.
