Andrew Bynum has been suspended indefinitely from the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the team's general manager revealed that it's all because of the negative influence Bynum has to the team, USA Today reported Saturday.

According to multiple sources, general manager Christ Grant announced that Andrew Bynum has been suspended by the Cleveland Cavaliers because of his negative conduct which is said to be detrimental to the team's success.

A USA Today Sports source revealed that Bynum has apparently not brought in to what the team is trying to accomplish. Instead he has turned into a negative influence to his teammates.

It can be noted that although the former All-Star center missed an entire season for 2012-13 because of his knee injuries, the Cleveland still signed him to a two-year $24.5 million contract. Now, if the Cavs will waive him by Jan. 7, only $6 million of the said contract will be guaranteed.

As of late, the Cavs have not made a clear decision whether they are letting go of Andrew Bynum before Jan. 7, but they are reportedly looking for a trade partner.

Early November this year, Bynum revealed that he had lost his joy for basketball, and analysts claim that he is still struggling with it.

According to USA Today, Andrew's negative influence to the team heightened this past month when he singled out that he simply wants to do what he wants to with little regard of their team goals.

Nevertheless, the Los Angeles Clippers have shown serious interest in signing Bynum into their team.
