A student in China is to face death sentence after slaying two prostitutes and having sex with their corpses afterwards, the Daily Mail reported Monday.
According to the report, a 23-year-old university student, whose surname is Lee, is to be executed for his twisted act of killing two prostitutes and have their bodies shipped to his home to satisfy his necrophilia fantasies.
Lee was identified as a student at Jilin University in Changchun and based on his statements to the authorities, he had been failing a lot of classes when he decided to call the prostitutes to find refuge or relieve the stifling pressure momentarily.
The 23-year-old wasn't shy about admitting to the investigators that he used to have fantasies on having sex with the dead, adding that he woke up one day carrying out a good plan to satisfy his twisted desire.
According to iFeng.com, it was on March 6 of this year when Lee decided to hire 20-year-old Cai, a prostitute he called through the Internet.
Lee reportedly hanged Cai and after making sure that the woman was dead, he had her body shipped to his house in Changping, where he allegedly performed some sexual acts with the corpse.
After satisfying his necrophilia fantasies, he dismembered the body and buried the parts in his garden.
Consequently, days passed and Lee decided to carry out the same plan on March 23. He also hanged another prostitute and had her body shipped home, where he again took advantage of the corpse.
Lee was later on traced for the disappearance of the two prostitutes. And a forensic psychiatrist determined that the 23-year-old university student was not at all insane. Hence, he was held criminally responsible for the said crimes.
Reports said the Second Intermediate People's Court found Lee guilty of "intentional homicide" and sentenced him to death.
Lee was also ordered to pay 80,000 yuan in compensation to the families of his victims.
