48-Year-Old Woman Found Breathing in Suitcase in Smuggling Attempt at US-Mexico Border [VIDEO + REPORT]

A 48-year-old woman was found inside a suitcase when Customs and Border Protection agents inspected a Honda SUV that was about to enter the US-Mexico border in Nogales, Arizona on Dec. 30.
MSN News reported that a Thai woman named Pornkamol Mongkolsermsak was discovered in a large suitcase when a Honda SUV was stopped for routine inspection at the US-Mexico border.
The Thai woman was said to have been in a very compromising situation inside the suitcase, where she was intentionally covered with a pile of clothing.
The large suitcase was found in the back of a Honda SUV driven by a 56-year-old Phoenix man, who remains unidentified as of late.
In a statement from Customs and Border Protection spokesman Victor Babble, he said that Mongkolsermsak was charged with re-entry after deportation because of the smuggling attempt.
Authorities are yet to find out whether the 48-year-old woman has a lawyer.
No further details on the whereabouts of the Phoenix man and that of the Thai woman were released as of late.
