The "Wahlburgers" premiere on Jan. 22 is looking to be a stellar success after tickets for the reality television show's opening went on sale around Wednesday noon and sold out within an hour.

The event, which takes place at Hingham Harbor on Jan. 22, sold 100 tickets to lucky fans. All the proceeds from the tickets will go to the Dorchester Youth Collaborative.

"It's all about the Dorchester Youth Collaborative, and the money is going to benefit them, so I'm really happy for them," Wahlburgers co-owner and chef, Paul Wahlberg, shared through a phone interview.

Wahlberg shared that he was excited and thrilled that tickets for their show's premiere sold out so quickly and that the US$2,500 garnered would be a big help to low-income urban youth.

The chef added that there will be more opportunities for donations during the event on Jan. 22.

"It's a program that Mark [Wahlberg] has been affiliated with for a long time," Wahlberg explained regarding his brother. "We're very excited for it, and they were excited as well. It's a great program, what they do over there is amazing."

After months of preparation, "Wahlburgers" is ready to air on A&E on Jan. 22 at 10:30 p.m. The show released a short teaser clip online that features photos of the three Wahlberg brothers on the scene of the Hingham-based restaurant.

The brothers were reportedly influenced by their desire to give support for the youth organization in their decision to host "Wahlburgers." Their charity of choice, Dorchester Youth Collaborative, gives innovative progmming to low-income urban youth.

Wahlberg also shared that fans played a key role in his decision to take part in the project.

"It seemed like the right thing to do for Wahlburgers, and for people affiliated with the restaurant stuff," the Wahlburgers chef said. "It's more about them than it is for me. It's showing our gratitude to them. And it's for a very good cause."
