Officers with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. on Tuesday morning searched the home of teen idol Justin Bieber, felony warrant in hand. They left with one of his friends after allegedly finding cocaine.

While searching for possible video evidence of an egg-throwing incident last week that vandalized the house of Bieber's neighbor, the officers reportedly arrested one of Bieber's guests, aspiring rapper Lil Za, for cocaine possession.

The felony warrant was issued to find possible evidence on the teen star's home security system's video surveillance the might implicate Bieber for egging his neighbor's home on Jan. 9, causing some $20,000 in damages. The damage was so extensive that felony charges might be brought against Bieber, 19, if enough evidence is found to substantiate the allegation. If evidence is found and Bieber were to be charged and convicted, he could face a year in jail.

Lil Za, whose real name is Xavier Dominique Smith, 19, and his brother, Little Twist, once lived at the home with Bieber but was thrown out after some of the teen pop star's jewelry went missing. The brothers had been throwing parties while Bieber was away, and the teen idol blamed the pair for the missing jewelry but said he did not know who took the items.

Bieber owns a home valued at $6.5 million in the ritzy Oaks subdivision, which is a gated neighborhood in Calabasas and located about 30 miles from Los Angeles. He has lived in the neighborhood for two years and has many high-profile neighbors, including the mother of Michael Jackson and former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson.

The alleged Bieber egg incident comes soon after the entertainer over the holidays claimed to have retired from the music industry. The pop star gained prominence after being discovered by talent agents after posting a YouTube video of him singing. Bieber has dated fellow teen star Selena Gomez and has made headlines over the past year for erratic behavior in nightclubs and other places.
