Curtis Raped Ex-Girlfriend Smiles: Alleged Claims Heard in Court

The Vine lovers had been separated for months but no particular reason was given over the said split up.
Jessi and Curtis have over 6 million followers on "Vines" where they met and become a real couple.
It was then Curtis Lepore, a star in an app called Vines, was accused of raping his ex-girlfriend Jessi Smiles.
Despite the break up, the two Vine star remain in good term with each other. August last year when Jessi flew to his boyfriend Curtis in Los Angeles but the Vine lovers end up splitting. Jessi, who was making her vine video, had a concussion. Curtis, who was willing to offer his time to take care of her, was accepted. That was the day when Curtis allegedly raped her ex-girlfriend while she was asleep.
Jan 14 was Curtis first court appearance to face the accusations thrown by her ex-girlfriend.
On October, Curtis was arrested over the rape charge but was able to release himself from jail after paying out $100,000 bail.

After the court hearing, he posted on twitter about his innocence. Also, he posted a video on his Vine account and captioned it, ""There are two sides to every story. When the time is right, I will have something to say."
Rape is a serious case that would require time for Jessi to fight for. However, Curtis is also willing to fight for himself against her ex-lover.
If Curtis was found guilty, it might have caused social media war on both party's fan. The once lover in the Vine community, now a total strangers still in the Vine community. Since their relationship started publicly, there is a great possibility that it would also be ended publicly.
