Natalie Dormer introduced a lot of sexy and sassy to the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet last night when she arrived on the scene with this year's most daring hairdo.
The "Game of Thrones" star debuted her half-shaved look on the red carpet Saturday night for the SAG, in preparation for her role in the upcoming last two installments of the one of biggest movie franchises to date, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay."
In a sea of Armani, Gucci and classic French waves, Dormer decided to up the edgy by attending one of Hollywood's biggest awards shows with an elegant take on what appears to be a punk-inspired look.
Stars such as Jada Pinkett Smith have sported the look on the red carpet before her but Natalie Dormer took the look up a notch by adding a classy French braid from her crown to the nape of her neck.
31-year-old Dormer was swathed in a Marios Schwab gown that showed off her curves and since the new half-shaven look made her ears highly visible, she added a trendy ear cuff to complete the look.
"The hair department of Mockingjay did it and I love it," Dormer said in an interview, referring to her role as Cressida in the last two Hunger Games installments. "A little trepidation but I was excited."
As for Dormer's other famous character on HBO's The Game of Thrones, the actress said she dons a wig for the part of Margaery Tyrell and she's considering keeping the edgy, half-shaved look permanently.
Fans are hoping she keep the look as well considering the many positive reponses Natalie Dormer has been getting through Twitter and Tumblr where both "Game of Thrones" and "The Hunger Games" fandoms reside.
