'Love Will Keep Us Together' Captain has no Idea Why Tennille Filed a Divorce

Captain and Tennille, the hit duo of 70's soon to end their marriage after her wife filed a divorce on Jan. 16, Monday.
Cathryn Antoinette Tennille, 73 year-old singer and wife of Daryl Dragon, 71 filed a divorce.
RumorFix confirmed the news that the couple known for their hit "Love Will Keep Us Together" and "Muskrat Love" is breaking up their 39 years of marriage.
Tennille filed the divorce at Arizona claiming their long relationship and marriage is "irretrievably broken".
Daryl Dragon, also known as Captain told TMZ that he has no idea why his wife filed the divorce.
"I don't know why she filed. I gotta figure it out for myself first," said the singer.
Though the divorce is currently process, the duo are still living in the same house.
The duo, during their time sold over 23 million albums. Their biggest hit was their cover of "Love Will Keep Us Together" which was bestselling on 1975. They follow the hit song "Do That To Me One More Time" on 1979 that top the pop charts.
Their 39 years of marriage did not give them a child.
The couple continues with their singing career for decades however, they slow down as they get old as they discover Dragon's disease.
In 2000, Tennille announced that Dragon is suffering from neurological condition that affects his ability to go on for music.
According to the divorce documents, Tennille mention about "health insurance reasons", however, it is still unclear if that was also the reason for filing a divorce.
In 2009, Toni blogged about Dragon's disease describing how this condition limits his husband and put him to several tremors.
The couple won Grammy in 1975.
