Nike is set to make noise with the upcoming release of an impressive set of classic shoes.
The set of five classic sneakers, which is dubbed as Nike Knows Collection 2014, will arrive at retailers on Monday, January 27, featuring specialized training sneakers.
Highlighting the special pack from the famous shoe brand is the much-improved edition of the classic Nike Lunar 180 Trainer SC that is also dubbed as the "Super Bowl" version of the shoe.
Listed as the Metallic Silver/Ice Blue-Metallic Silver colorway of the shoe, this year's edition combined the classic features of the silhouette and Nike's now-famous Hyperfuse technology to produce a lightweight training kick.
This sneaker, which was first released in 1990, will retail at $145 per pair.
Also included in the pack is the Tinker Hatfield-created Nike Air Trainer 1 Premium -- a shoe that generated huge waves when it first came out in 1987 as a cross-training sneaker.
This year's edition, which features basketball-style upper part that sits on a running-style outsole, will retail at $140 per pair as well.
Another famous cross-training shoe is expected to make a triumphant return on the sneaker market.
The Air Trainer Max '94, which was first released in 1994, will come out in Black/Ice Blue/Dark Grey colorway. This classic shoe was worn by famous athletes back then, who made names for themselves with their immeasurable dedication in improving their craft.
The revolutionized version of this classic training kick will be available for $150 per pair.
The 2014 Nike Knows Collection also includes the tweaked editions of the Nike Zoom Meriwether Posite and Nike Sky High Premium that are also set to hit the market on Monday.
The Zoom Meriwether Posite that boasts lightweight responsiveness and superb protection will retail at $250, while the Sky High PRM that provides super balance with impressive-looking style will be available for $200 per pair.
"The Nike Knows collection is inspired by a golden age, a time when athletes were elevated to heights previously unknown and their legacy expanded well beyond the field. While winning was the core motive, swagger was a prerequisite. The dynamic personas of the era elevated a game into the game," Nike noted.
