NCAA basketball scores showed one of the most exciting rounds of the season, with Syracuse emerging victorious and unbeaten against Miami and Andrew Wiggins scoring career-high 27 points.

NCAA basketbal scores continue heating up, with some teams cruising past their opposing schools and others trailing behind valiantly.

Syracuse Orange, who remain unbeaten at No. 2, held the Hurricanes without a basket for the last 7 and a half minutes of the game and made an impressive eight consecutive free throws in the last minute to emerge victorious with a 12-point lead at 64-52.

Miami led 47-46 with less than 7 minutes remaining but scored only once down the final stretch.

Syracuse, with a 19-0 record for NCAA, just needs to grab one more victory to tie the NCAA record for most wins to start a season, set two years ago. The ACC newcomers trumped defending league champion Miami Hurricanes (10-9, 2-5) for the second time in just three weeks.

Syracuse Orange player Jerami Grant ended the game with 16 points to lead his team, who had a 39-24 rebounding advantage.

Davon Reed scored 16 points for Miami, who played it safe by shooting 9 of 17 from 3-point range.

Meanwhile, Andrew Wiggins scored 19 of his career-high 27 points in the first half and Kansas Jayhawks finally took revenge for last year's beating from the Horned Frogs, beating TCU with 91-69 on Saturday night.

Kansas (15-4, 6-0 Big 12) won their sixth straight game and maintained their position as the only Big 12 team without a league loss.
